CHILDREN’S SUNDAY SCHOOL
Families with children (Kindergarten-5th or 6th graders) gather every Sunday from 9:35-10:35 a.m. The group starts in the Music Room (Rm. 109 on the 1st floor of the Educational Building) but moves to other rooms depending on their activity for the day.
PRESCHOOL MUSIC & MOTION
Families with preschoolers (Babies through age five years) are invited every Tuesday afternoon from 3-3:45 p.m. in the Music Room 109 on the first floor of the Education Building. Music, movement activities, and stories are a part of each week’s program.
ELEMENTARY MUSIC & MOTION
Families with older children (Kindergarteners through 5th or 6th grade) are invited every Tuesday afternoon from 3:45-4:30 p.m. in the Music Room 109 on the first floor of the Education Building. Music, movement activities, and stories are a part of each week’s program.
THE CHILDREN’S MUSIC PROGRAM
Music is also a Faith Formation activity for children and caregivers who wish to participate. Rehearsals are held each Wednesday evening from 6-6:30 p.m. for families with children up to 6th grade. All meetings are held in the Music Room on the first floor of the Education Building.
KAMO (Kids at Mt. Olive)
Children learn about faith, fellowship, and God in KAMO. Parents, grandparents, and other family members assist by planning and attending activities. Past events include scavenger hunts, egg hunts, campfires, Bible school, outdoor play, Trunk-or-Treat, Christmas shoeboxes for impoverished children, and a Christmas program.
Teens (6-12th graders) and families gather at least once monthly for Fun, food, friends, and faith-building! This is an event-based, fun, and formative group.
Every Sunday morning, from 9:35-10:35 a.m., adults gather for fellowship and faith formation.
TYING & TACKING (QUILTING)
Meets every Monday at 9 a.m. to make quilts for those in need and enjoy fellowship.
MEN’S BIBLE STUDY
Meets every Tuesday at 8 a.m. for singing, study, and irreverent hilarity. Breakfast at Cafe Gouda follows.
Small groups that meet monthly offer the opportunity to build deeper relationships with one another.
WOMEN OF THE ELCA
The individual women’s circles of Mt. Olive participate in joint initiatives to study and serve the church locally and globally through devotions, projects, and plans that unite women of all ages and backgrounds.
MT. OLIVE ADULT FELLOWSHIP
All Mt. Olive adults and friends are invited to meet on the third Wednesday of each month, usually at 10:30 a.m. Please contact the church office if you would like to be added to the reminder list for activities.
